you that you have to go on, but your body is close to giving out. Five to six days a week, i was
on stage for about two and a half hours every night. Doing that for over two years, my larynx
didn't feel great, it felt like my vocal cords were just falling apart".

Tonight will be Metallica's first time playing in Guatemala City. It's an early show tonight, with Extincion starting things off at 6, Mastodon at 6:50, and our boys hitting stage around 8.

Despite we experienced a power failure at the beginning of the show, that caused Creeping Death and For Whom the Bell Tolls to be only heard by the band's monitor, (audio failed due to a broken generator) they got it back to work and re-take the concert with FWTBT this was the biggest, best, loudest gig in Guatemala ever.
I got to be in front row, right after the M&G and cried my ass off all gig long.
Those who have seen the band live know what I talk about when I say it was overwhelming. This was the first, and according to Lars, who told our Chapter Head in Romania (yeah, the lucky motherfurcker got to travel there and won a M&G too) they played here by mere coincidence, but would love to come back as the crowd was insane and drove them mad as well.
